Here the crane was in Rotterdam to help raising the boom of a piledriver.
The crane fitted with luffing to lift a small wooden house. This house was placed on a boat.
Later the house was lifted from the boat and placed on a truck from Nederhoff, about an hour later the house was lifted once again to its final destination.
Because the crane has a very strong table the SSL (Sideways Super Lift) doesn't need to be fitted most of the time. For this jib, lifting heavy containers, the SSL was needed to lift the containers at a large radii.
Here the crane was fitted with the maximum counterweight, 142 tonnes. This surely gives an imposing sight.
To close the two most recent pictures taking in Capelle. Here the crane had to lift concrete beams at a large radii. To do so the crane was fitted with the max. 142 tons counterweight and a luffing jib.
My thanks go to the friendly employees of De Gier which always let me take pictures.
