The third time I saw this beautiful crane it had to rig a tower crane near my house.
While the tower crane was rigged to the disered height the LTM 1400-1 had to be rigged with a fixed jib. Unfortunately when I arrived the crane already finished the towercrane and they started with the derig of the crane.
The jib was dismantled with this Effer 600 truckcrane mounted on a Mercedes truck.
Here a picture with the first piece of the jib, the triangles are just together with the YSL to hold the boom straight.
In total there where 3 combinations from Van der Tol to transport the crane parts.
Here 2 pictures of the MAN TGA counterweight truck.
Some pictures of the nice crane! Meanwhile the towercrane build half of the building, I'm curious which crane will take the towercrane down when it's finished.
Like I told above this was the third time I saw this crane, the second time was at the Mack day in 2005. The first time I saw it in Rotterdam, for some pictures click here: Lifting a old brigde.
Once again my thank to the friendly employees of Van der Tol who let me take pictures.
