Sarens Netherlands is rapidly expanding, one of the new cranes is this secondhand LTM 1400/1.
One of the last pictures of this crane in the old colours. Waiting at the paintshop Van de Griend for the blue colours.
The first time I saw the crane in action was during the replacement of a railroadbridge.
The next job I saw was to lift a TC 3200 from Sarens UK on the Sea Jack together with the AC 500-2.
The TC 3200 will build windmills on sea.
The LTM 1400/1 was rigged with 110t counterweight and the AC 500-2 with 120t.
Some time later I saw the crane again, this time lifting concrete floorplates to a radii of 50m.
From a nearby highrise some good pictures could be taken.
After all the floorplates had been placed they could start derigging.
This crane can take of its own superlift by pulling the pins while telescoping the boom.
The last time I saw the crane sofar was during the lifting of some bridge sections of a old highway bridge. The lifting was done with the LTM 1400-7.1 and LTM 1400 from Sarens Belgium and LTM 1400 Nederhoff.
