Liebherr LR 1400/2 and AC 700 Sarens Netherlands
Two steel structures had to be lifted in Hilversum early December. The cranes used for this were AC 700 fitted with 30m luffing jib and a LR 1400/2 from the division Sarens Wind.
The LR 1400/2 was rigged with 77m mainboom and superlift counterweight car.
The first steelstruss, weighing about 90t, was lifted at 40.5m radius for the AC 700 and 56.5m for the LR 1400/2.
After the struss was lifted in the upright position the LR 1400/2 could crawl backwards and started slewing, the AC 700 followed.
After the LR 1400/2 was in position the AC 700 could slew into the desired position.
Next the superlift car of the LR 1400/2 had to be pushed out to a greater radii so the crane could start giving more flight.
The trust hanging above the destination.
A better view at the LR 1400/2 with pushed out counterweightcar.
A crane which you won't see in civielconstruction very often.
