Transport tunnel digging machine in The Hague
Last weekend (16-17 december 2007) a tunnel digging machine was transported.
A week earlier the LTM 1500 from Mammoet was here to take the machine appart. It was rigged with full 165 tonne counterweight and YSL guying system.
To load, the LTM 1500 was present again, this time with 135 tonne counterweight.
To transport heavy stuff, heavy trucks are needed. The head of the machine (cutting blade) was transported on this 12 line Scheurle and was pulled by a Titan.
Another Titan was pulling a 10 line Scheurle.
There were some Actros trucks aswell with 5/6 axle trailers to transport the "less heavier" parts.
At the other side of the tunnel this AC 500-1 was rigged with 160 tons of counterweight to unload the parts.
To close some pictures of the unloading.
